Ming (Martin) Tian

Ming (Martin) Tian has served as Landsea Homes’ Chairman since 2013. Tian founded the parent company of Landsea Homes, Landsea Group Co., Ltd. (Landsea Group) in 2001. He has also held the titles of chairman and president of Landsea Group and one of its subsidiaries, Landsea Green Properties Co., Ltd, since 2001. Under his leadership, Landsea Group’s assets have grown from a registered capital investment of $1.5 million (at incorporation) to a total asset value exceeding $3.7 billion. Tian earned his MBA from China Europe International Business School.

John Ho

John Ho has served as Landsea Homes’ Chief Executive Officer and Director since 2013. Prior to forming Landsea Homes, Ho spent 10 years in real estate investment and development at Colliers International and Jones Lang LaSalle. He served as Director at Jones Lang LaSalle from 2011 to 2013, leading the firm in cross-border business development and delivering transactional, consultancy and other integrated real estate services to outbound Chinese businesses investing overseas. Ho received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Qin (Joanna) Zhou

Qin (Joanna) Zhou has served as a Director of Landsea Homes since 2013. Zhou has over 20 years of experience in real estate business development, investment and operational leadership. She joined Landsea Green Properties Co., Ltd. in 2002 and served as the regional general manager across areas such as Nanjing, Suzhou and Shanghai. In addition, she led Landsea Group’s global strategic deployment while serving as the assistant to the chairman, general manager of Shanghai Landsea Architecture Technology Co., Ltd. and general manager of Landsea Architecture Design Institute. Zhou received a bachelor’s degree from China Europe International Business School and an MBA from Nanjing University.

Bruce Frank

Bruce Frank has served as a Director of Landsea Homes since 2015. He previously served as a senior partner within the assurance service line of Ernst & Young LLP’s real estate practice from 1997 to 2014, and he currently serves as a Director of Morgan Stanley Direct Lending Fund and chair of its Audit Committee. From 2014 through 2017, Frank served as a member of VEREIT, Inc.’s Board of Directors and its Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees, as well as a member of ACRE Realty Investors Inc.’s Board of Directors and Audit Committee. Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Robert Miller

Robert Miller has served as a Director of Landsea Homes since 2014. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate transactions, entitlements and related litigation in California and out of state, and he has served as a partner at the law firm Lubin Olson & Niewiadomski LLP since 2014. His practice involves a range of real estate and development activities, addressing a wide variety of issues that confront real estate developers, owners and builders. Miller received a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a JD degree from Harvard Law School.

Thomas Hartfield

Thomas Hartfield has served as a Director of Landsea Homes since January 2017. He has over 30 years of investment banking experience, with extensive expertise in the building products, home building and real estate sectors. Previously, he was a senior advisor at Annascaul Advisors LLC; managing director of the Homebuilding and Building Products Group at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin; and a managing director and partner at Dillon Read & Co. and its successor firm, UBS, where he was a senior member of the Homebuilding and Building Products Group. Hartfield received an MBA from New York University.

Scott Reed

Scott Reed has served as a Director of Landsea Homes since 2020, following the company’s business combination with LF Capital Acquisition Corp. Reed has over 20 years in the financial services and strategic consulting industries and is the Chief Executive Officer of LF Capital Acquisition Corp. He is also the co-founder of BankCap Partners, a private equity firm that focuses on investments in the U.S. commercial banking space, and he has served as a Partner and Director since 2006. Reed received his bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and History from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar.

Elias Farhat

Elias Farhat has served as a Director of Landsea Homes since 2020, following the company’s business combination with LF Capital Acquisition Corp. Farhat has been a member of LF Capital Acquisition Corp.’s Board of Directors since 2017 and is the Chief Strategy Officer for Candriam Investors Group, an asset management company with over $140 billion under management. From 2003 to 2016, he was a Partner of Capital E, a private equity and real estate firm. He was also the Founder and Managing Partner of Velocity Advisors, a private equity advisory, and a former Vice President and Partner at Bain & Company, where he spent 12 years as a management consultant across Europe, the US and Latin America. Farhat is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales in Paris.

Tim Chang

Tim Chang has served as a Director of Landsea Homes since January 2021. Chang has over 26 years of experience as a private practice lawyer in the areas of corporate governance, commercial transactions, real estate and nonprofit laws, and he has been a partner at Musick Peeler & Garrett, LLP since 2011. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for First Commercial Bank and on the Board of Trustees for the University of the West in the United States, as well as on the Board of Directors for both Hotai Shinyeh Co. Ltd. and Chang Yuan Motor Co. Ltd. in Taiwan. Previously, he was on the Board of Directors for Hotai Motor Co. Ltd. (TPE: 2207). Chang received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a JD from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
